Persistent RAM disk?

It is working for me. Please ensure that the m3u file is correct with full path name, no missing tracks

Please also check "Replace Ram" using playlist. It is adding.

No worries @agent_kith

Not sure if it may be me with new kernel?

Sorry @Snoopy8 , I missed your reply. Tried it all and still getting no files copied error. Tried both types of filesystems too (ramfs give no files copied error, the other give the error but copies the actual playlist file itself). A 4gb RAM drive doesn't copy the playlist below, absolute full path I think. There is one playlist that is bigger that does copy one file.

@agent_kith , you wanted a reminder after a few days? lol. I'm using the new kernel so not sure that may be the difference why it's working for snoopy and not me?

Test using the 2 flac files. I believe copying to RamDisk using a playlist with dsf tracks does not work. Copying dsf tracks from a folder to RamDisk works.

Hi @Snoopy8 and @agent_kith , I've got a small playlist of my test music, 6 files. They're all FLACS and still get the error that can't be copied, both ramdisk and tmpfs. Still thinking it may be the new kernel that's the difference and why?

Clearing old backlog tickets. I've tested this and all is working in my test setup. Can you confirm if you're still having this problem? If yes, I'll just close this as fixed.

Confirming it works for both FLAC and dsf playlist.

But I have another problem. I have not played dsf files for quite some time and it is not working properly. I want MPD to convert dsf to pcm so that I can apply convolution. I suspect that 1.2.4 is causing the problem and will report back after I do some more digging.

You'll prob need to update the mpd.template and specify a format. that will always output pcm.
