Are you on UEFI? If yes, is the PC connected to the Internet? Ubuntu will need to pull additional files from the Internet in this instance.

At the moment I don't have enough information to go on to figure out what the problem is. Any other errors before this?
Are there other user still facing this problem?  I'm going to buy a new fanless pc with NVMe SSD for Snakeoil OS.
Thanks!  Shy
i have the same problem of 87mpi , i am using intel nuc8i3 and a acer nvme ssd

Try the NVMe install kernel here.

Hopefully when the next big release of Snakeoil is out this driver support issue will go the way of the dodo.
Dear agent kith's

in my nuc, it can detect the nvme ssd with this kernel "install-4.4.9-rt17-amd64-nvme.zip" but no network.

and

detect netwok with this kernel "install-4.19.37-rt19-amd64-snakeoil-20190512.zip but no nvme ssd.

i think the problem will be solve if mix the hardware driver within this two kernels.

Best Regards

Almost certain this is using the e1000e driver. Are you using you're using the correct kernel? Can you start a terminal and run

Code:
uname -a

Also, check what the logs says

Code:
dmesg |grep e1000e
[Image: 123.jpg]

using  this kernel "install-4.19.37-rt19-amd64-snakeoil-20190512.zip" to installed in a usb finger
