Hello every one. I have instaled and updated snake oil system in my raspberry pi b3+ for roon bridge rooning. But i have digital pops in Sound.  When i dont use dsp and upsampler in roon Core i have 2-3 pops on 30second in Music. But if i use upsampler to 352800 and parametric eq i have poping all the  Time!  I have on another sd card moode audio system and have no problems,  musisz na floating even  with hard resampling and dsp. I have instaled snake oil system on 4gb 4 class card. Moode is instaled on 32gb 10 I class card. What to do? Very thanks

Looks like the Pi can't keep up with data requirements. Some things you can try:
  1. Use a faster SDCard
  2. Use better power supply
  3. If you're using activated editions, set  some of the process to real time to make sure things don't stall
  4. Disable jumbo frames if you are using this in your network (the pi cannot handle big MTU)
  5. SSH into your PC and run "sudo ifconfig" and check your network status. If there are errors, fix your network hardware
  6. Increase the audio buffers
Yes, a class 10 sd card should compulsory...;-)

AK can you expand on the procedure for RPI Snakeoil for these...(where to find and what adjustments are available)
*set  some of the process to real time
*Increase the audio buffers
Very thanks! I have an very Good LPS Power supply. Jumpo  Frames are disable.  where to set an audio buffer?  od corse not on roon Core, moode audio system on raspberry on faster  card run excelent on 384khz and with hard dsp .Mayby problem is that snake oil system is  Build on Intel platforms?  not for raspberry.

Everything is going to be in the future manual.. Tongue Still working on it at the moment, but hopefully once completed the Snakeoil documentation will be better than it is today.

Nah. The codebase for Snakeoil is portable, meaning it will work on whatever platform it's compiled on. Right now it works on Intel (32 and 64) and Rsapberry. I can also built this on other platforms if the need is there.

Have a check at the Roon knowledge base on audio dropouts and see if that can help you identify where the bottleneck is.
Hi i have instaled snake on faster 10 I class card, but with no sukces.  Sound still is poping. I have tryed with setups in roon but This is not roon problem.  moode audio system with roon dont have any problems.

Can you play some tunes and let the audio pop for around a minute or so (with low volumes of course), then generate a diagnostic file and send it over to the email specified?
