First release of a 4.x kernel for Snakeoil:

32 bits 
  • This kernel is compiled for Atom based CPUs but may work with other processors. Supports both USB and Intel HDA audio cards. May work with the Pink Faun (via HDA driver)[attachment=1]
  • This kernel (linux-4.4.4-rt11-generic-usb.tar.bz2)  is compiled for Pentium4 and above CPUs, and only supports USB audio devices[attachment=11]
  • This kernel (linux-4.4.4-rt11-generic-hda.tar.bz2)  is compiled for Pentium4 and above CPUs, and only supports Intel HDA[attachment=12]
Update: Thread closed as we are transitioning to Snakeoil 1.0.0!
  • This kernel (linux-4.4.4-rt11-4.4.4-rt11-hda-usb-parport.tar.bz2) is compiled for Atom based CPUs but may work with other processors. Supports both USB and Intel HDA audio cards. Also includes parallel port for VFD (parport + lp).[attachment=15]
  • linux-4.4.4-rt11-4.4.4-rt11-hda-usb-parport.2.tar.bz2 is like above, but with +parport, -lp. [attachment=16]
Refer to the chapter titled SnakeOil Tab chapter of the manual (Upload vmlinuz) on the steps for uploading this kernel file to your Snakeoil machine.
