But when I unpacked and powered up the Dashboard said 'up to date'
In the past I usually posted the release in the forums, facebook and update server all at once... Having botched two releases lately, I think I'm gonna post on the forums first, get everything sorted out, and then notify facebook and update server. Probably reduce any bad potential impact.

Thanks to Snoopy8's help, I think have isolated/confirm the problem. Have re-released 1.1.10 (links above), please verify and confirm the checksum is correct during the update. Hope all will be good.. Smile

Thank you Agent Kith for fixing the problem, which is related to my system being on 16.04.
All good ! Downloaded and installed.   (on 16.04 here too as it seems to perform and sound better with my hardware....looking forward to trying 20.04....18.04 just didn't work/sound right)

Yeah, as mentioned a few posts above, I'm gonna stagger the notifications

Firmware will be posted on Forums first, and stickied.

Then a few days later, send out a facebook post, update server and main page.

This way we reduce any chance of a bad bug spreading out like wild fire.

There are no 'bad bugs'... Wink  only learnings.. AK, your new path is good. Forums first and we can trial and feedback. Oh such fun !.... I love breakage as it gives me something to do !!

I think 0.8 will be removed soon. The license terms prevent it from being hosted elsewhere. If you want to use 0.8, download it now and use Putty to load it manually.

Please note that you are using 0.8, it can continue to be used under the license terms. It will of course have no updates.
