Hi,

Sorry for another newbie question.

All my flac files are stored on the synology NAS under audio station.

Can snake oil connect to the audio station to get the files for playback?

Thanks again

Unfortunately, Audio Station only works with Synology and its own app.  SnakeOil is more complicated to setup than Synology, but delivers better sound quality.

You have to set up a music library on SnakeOil first

Then use a music server/player

Your FLAC files are stored in NAS, but not Audio Station in NAS.  Audio Station is only a software in Synology NAS to manage and play those stored music files inside that particular NAS.  So all you need is to install and set up SNAKEOIL accordingly, and connect to your music files folders in NAS correctly.  Then you'll have your satisfactory rewards in sound.  Wink
Thanks guys. I understand better now.
