Snakeoil OS Is using a very customised Linux Kernel and while this is the reason for the excellent sound quality, the kernel (and underlying Operating System itself) may not behave well in your computer system.\n\nWhen this happens you can use the built in system to generate a diagnostics file, to be sent to the Snakeoil Squad for troubleshooting purposes. \n\nThis diagnostics file will include things like:\n\n* System log\n* Snakeoil log\n* USB device information\n* Network configuration\n* Running processes\n* Disk information\n* Audio device information\n* and more\n\nWhile not entirely exhaustive, the file should provide the necessary information for us to understand the state of your computer.\n\n= Generating The Diagnostic File =\n\n# From the Snakeoil menu, click on othe ''System'' menuitem to gGo to the ''System'' page\n# Look for the Commands panel and locate the button that reads ''Diagnostics'' [[File:System - commands.png|center|frameless|1138x1138px|System - commands]]\n# Click the ''Diagnostiics'' button\n# You'll be directed to the generating diagnostics file page.\n# Wait a few seconds for the big download text to appear.[[File:System - diagnostics.png|center|frameless|1178x1178px|System - diagnostics]]\n# Click on the big green text to download the diagnostics file\n# Note the e-mail address above.
