do you mean installer ?

Yes. Firmware updates will only update MPD, Squeezelite and the Snakeoil WebApp in general, it will not update LMS.

Installer will install LMS, but only if none was previously installed.

Alternatively, you can just download LMS (deb) file from the official website, and drop it into the install window. That'll work also. This might be the best option.

Installer is 8.2, so that should work. Please start a new thread and include the install log if you have problems, should be easy to address.

You should be able to go to your profile (picture at the top right), and then click "change user name". Enter your current password, and you should be able to change your forum handle to another name.

hello ,
i had same issue yesterday when i was trying to install roon bridge , to solve this problem i had to use ubuntu-20.04.2-live-server-amd64 instead of ubuntu-22.04.1-live-server-amd64 . i did all the audio software installations exept hqplayer embedded . then i upgraded to ubuntu 22.04 to install Hqplayer.
roon bridge is working fine after the upgrade.
Thx hossamyazeed! Everything works now.

Welcome to the Snakeoil community patch! Smile
Here's a wiki paragraph on how to do an upgrade: https://www.snakeoil-os.net/wiki/Configu...ll/Upgrade

If you go to the top of this forum section here (https://www.snakeoil-os.net/forums/Forum...-Firmwares), there is a YouTube video on how to do the upgrade. The video is of an earlier version, but the process is still the same.

@hkphantomgtr is the person who has tested Studio.

Thanks for your credit, Snoopy8.  Yet I didn't compare between Studio and Server version, as I don't know how to replace the kernel with command line.
