[SOLVED] MPD issues with 0.1.5

For folks who are using MPD and having problems. This may be resolved in 0.1.5a firmware. Please download that firmware and test if everything is working as expected.

If there are no reports of failures in 2 weeks from now I'd just assume this issue resolved and spin up 0.1.5a.

I flash the new version snakeoil-0.1.5a-amd64.fw. V20 does not like to play dry, analytic. I stop working MPD dsd-rt. Back snakeoil-0.1.5-amd64.fw.

That's kindda what I'm afraid of - simple changes in how software players like MPD are compiled seem to affect SQ - be it real or imaginative.

Just have to keep working that magic until I find a working combination again - perhaps with a new kernel.

In the meantime, you can download and try the different kernels in the Kernel resources section and see any of the older kernels is a good match for the current version of MPD.

Marking this as resolved, mpd-dsd-rt is also fixed in 0.1.5b. Can't really vouch for the SQ for now, but at least it wouldn't crash!
