Hi all,

I have problem configuring HandleLidSwitch permanently?

I edit /etc/systemd/logind.conf and add HandleLidSwitch=ignore, however it gets removed after activating new kernel and reboot and the laptop goes to sleep after I close the lid.

How can I make this switch configuration permanent?

Thanks
Bela

Snakeoil don't modify that file.

Run this command after you have modified the above file. That should make your changes "stick".
Code:
sudo systemctl restart systemd-logind
